We have a big problem with weeds on our place, the one that annoys me most is the Cobbler's Pegs. Our adult geese don't touch it, there's too much to pull out, and I don't want to spray in the goose or chook areas. Apparently it is edible, so I'm experimenting with trying to give our 2 handraised goslings a taste for the stuff. At the moment (3 days old) they're getting chopped grass as well as chick starter, so I'm starting to mix some cobblers pegs leaves in with the grass....so far so good.
Has anyone else had any luck training their geese this way? I hear it can be done . Our adult geese love the Mother of Millions, even going as far as digging the roots up...that's a good start!
Please help.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
